Claudia Thomason spent her childhood in northern Ohio before moving to Arizona. She worked in the criminal justice system as Division Chief of the local County Victim Witness Program, then as Deputy Director of the Arizona Attorney General’s Office of Victim Services. She served on the Arizona Supreme Court Judicial Council’s Committee on Probation and also served two terms as Chair of the Arizona Coalition for Victim Services.
An outspoken voice for crime victims, she co-founded the County’s Domestic Violence Task Force, a program reviewed and highly recommended by the Institute for Law and Justice. Claudia received recognition from the United States Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs for outstanding dedication and service on behalf of crime victims.
In 1999, exciting opportunities arose to work with children in Africa. After her first trip, she realized that they taught her more than she was ever able to teach them. Prompted to continue her studies for ordination into the ministry, Claudia was ordained as a Pastor in 2008. Claudia is currently a therapeutic foster parent and Director of the School Sponsorship Division of Reaching Kids International.
